Angelic Aura.
Should have light aim assist. LIke. in the form of the same form of lock-on that you get from the big hippo kills. But just have it be a weaker version and permanent on the weapon. Just to make it slightly more viable. Because at the moment it is literally just, in the same pile as the rest of the bog standard shooting weapons like the cavalry and dragoncaster. (although dragoncaster does have a more unique trait to it then the rest). I dunno. I figured something called ''Angelic Aura'' would give you some sort of supportive ability. like for instance light auto-aim/aim-assist.

I disagree with aim assist, but some sort of special ability would be nice! Scalpel increases accuracy, Illusion increases rate of fire, Demonlore increases damage, maybe have Angelic Aura increase crit damage until reloading? Something like +0.1x per crit (stacks until 99 or until reload) would still be far weaker than Demonlore, but could be combined with Crit Gemini for nice effects :)

Hmmm, this gave me an idea. You know how cavalry autocrits on the last shot in the burst? What if angelic aura got +100% lucky shot chance on the last shot in the burst and got some support for that? Also +.1 critx stacking like demonlore would probably be more powerful than demonlore because of the way flat +% damage works.

Continuing the whole ''Aneglic'' side of the name of the gun. What about something like... Each kill you get a spinning shield that will block one instance of damage? and you can have 10 of them spinning around at once? OR what if every crit you hit with the gun gave you 1 hp?

The shield idea is way too strong with the maximum of 10. You could just pop off a bunch of fodder enemies and start blocking hits left and right. I think a more balanced way to implement this would to have one shield that spins around you and blocks 1 hit with a cooldown (kind of like the Dreamshield from Hollow Knight). The health gain idea would be op, there are a lot of enemies with easily hit crit points and the gun rapid-fires bursts. There would also have to be a bunch of scroll and inscription balancing around this one mechanic.

Do I need to direct you to the MULTITUDES of OP weapons and/or scrolls? You're not gonna convince me something is broken unless it's gonna be killing literally everything within sight in seconds. Like, dual rainbow on Ao Bai. Literally any shotgun with Qing Yan. The Talisman with Crown Prince. Literally, penetration shot on it's own is so incredibly busted it is unreal. This game is NOT about balance. It's about getting something stupid and cobbling together a build that just destroys the entire game start to finish.

Besides the examples you mentioned in the reply, I would like to know what weapons/scrolls you consider op. Just so we can get on the same page here.

Ok well. The shards in themselves are VERY broken as well. I only recently truly experienced the pure immunity to damage that was having a corrosion shard on Qiug Yan. I was just. Not taking damage. ever. and when I eventually took enough chip damage I'd just use my skill once and whoops another 5 minutes of chip damage added to my reservoir of possible damage to take. Ammo recoverer is also very broken in the sense that it'll let you infinitely use special ammo weapons due to well, the fact that special ammo is normally used up at a 1 per second rate give or take. and just running around whilst using a golden bow, or any other super powerful special ammo gun, you can just sorta, keep using it without worrying about running out of the scarce ammo. Let's see.... Close encounter is also VERY broken because hey, guaranteed crits for 3 seconds after taking damage? Yea hey how often do you take damage in this game. Oh about 80% of the time you're playing and being in combat? Mnyea basically just infinite guaranteed crits. What else... I mean I can probably go on if you want me to. Do you want me to?

You said that the shards themselves are broken, but the only time it's strong to that degree is with corrosion on bird. Even then, it's pretty niche as there aren't many corrosion enemies (not considering modifiers). Yes, it's very strong under the right circumstances and with the right ascensions, but otherwise it's a regular defence scroll. For ammo recoverer, special ammo guns generally have a lower ROF like you said. This also means that they use ammo slower. In my experience, I've never run out of ammo on a special gun unless I was using wild hunt or something. Not to mention that the special ammo regen has to share the pool with normal and large ammo as well. The extra ammo is nice, but calling it broken is a bit of a stretch. I agree with your points about deadly counter and penetration bullet. They are incredibly powerful, especially when in combination with each other. Dual rainbow is nice, but it falls off at longer ranges due to not being able to use secondaries. Talisman on cat is still pretty strong, but that would be very ascension dependant to use to its full potential. Also, not every shotgun is magically op on bird. Illusion, pupil, and porcupine benefit much less from his skills and ascensions.
