Lightning Shard and Lighnting Enthusiast...

...how do they affect each other? Does Lightning Enthusiast still give me plus 10% dmg (lightning dmg) when I wear Lightning shard (Whenever I take lightning dmg I become immune to it and get extra dmg from Corrosion and Fire)?

I should be taking +50% dmg from fire and corrosion and deal +75% dmg with lightning, when both are equipped, right? At least for the 2s.

Lightning Enthusiast:
You get the Shock status effect (shows on the bottom of your screen) when you inflict it on others
When you have the Shock status effect, you take +10% damage from all sources

Lightning Shard:
When you get hit by Lightning damage, you become immune to Lightning afterwards for 2 seconds (and take +50% from Fire and Corrosion)

So basically they don't interact at all. Which is kind of sad imo. Same with the other two, Enthusiast = affects elemental status effect, Shard = affects elemental damage. (Burning isn't Fire damage either...)

The shards in general just aren't worthwhile. Amplifying all other types of damage by 50% just to be immune to one isn't worth it. And grabbing all 3 is a death sentence, as you will take double damage from every element, almost ensuring you get oneshot.

The only positive effect of a shard I've experienced so far was the Fire Enthusiast on Quing Yan, slowly leeching health while building up the armor via leaps and wing slaps. If they don't synergize in any regard, I don't see the point in ever building towards one of those builds or picking up any of those Shards at all.

I have only used the shards with spirit feline. Otherwise I view them as a curse.

Garbage useless items except the Lightning enthusiast, which is basically free +75% lightning damage if you have a lightning weapon :/

The shards are bad. Period. Enthusiasts are good with the right build. Veteran + fire Enthusiast can be immortality. Snow shoes + Corrosion enthusiast is just straight up good.
