Lost Soul essence after a game
I saved 98 essence after a game and the next match it became zero

Did you unlocked talent that allows you to save 100/200/300/400/500 souls to the next run?

I can save up to 500 with the skill in theory but in reality nothing is saved up. Do I need to make afull run and after this run another full run to get the souls?

No, souls will always be saved even if u just kill one mob and die then. Just understand how the „save“ option works. You don’t end a game and get ur collected souls and additional the saved souls. Let’s say you save 98 souls from the OP the you start your next game with 98 souls instead of zero.

Saved souls are always on board when starting a new game, so remember that reviving itself costs more for every soul you currently have. If you start with 500 it takes ~150 souls to revive at Lu Wu and the boss himself just drops 30-50 souls

I only save souls if I don't skill anything in the talent tree. If I skill one point all souls are gone as it seems.

Now that makes sense. Every time I lose all my soul essence, despite having upgraded the pouch to level 2, but I always spend some of skills...but never keeps the balance.

The saved souls are actually added to your starting souls the next run, as far as I know they aren't listed separately anywhere in the game.
