Are there even 30 fiddler crabs to fry?

I've tried solo/duo/ and a full squad of randoms to do the 30 crabs on fire thing and i've made sure to kill all if not most of the crabs with fire yet I never see 30. It doesn't even look close to 30 that spawn

Funny, I was just looking and a previous thread said that the only way is if you happen to get the challenge which makes enemies spawn a fiddler crab on death. Otherwise you won't be able to get it in your run.

I strongly dislike achievements tied to RNG in a game about using your skill. I wish they'd change it or make it more achievable normally.

Yeah, you'll just have to hope the rare random event spawns I'm afraid.

The random event isn't that rare so don't give up ^^

I had it spawn once in 90 hours of play, I've had the coyote spawn 4 times that.

I have played 120+ hours and still haven't seen the crab event pop up yet lol.

It'll be my luck it will pop when I don't have a fire weapon and my random teammates will kill them with everything but fire lol.

The coyote I see pretty frequently though. Maybe 1 every 5 or so runs.

This is actually the worse one for me, i'm at 55/60 achievements and this is the only one that's an issue

Hey, devs, can you please change this to "simply kill 30 crabs"? I'm running with fire DMG last games just simply to find out that there are not enough crabs for everyone, especially if your teammates are no gourmet.

This is pretty much the only achievement I've never gotten and I've tried for it constantly, not sure if it's possible to even happen.

It's possible, it just heavily relies on the room challenge of crabs spawning from enemies when they die.

Yes it can take some time, but there a way worse ones like "beat nightmare in under 30min"

"fire" also refers purely to the hit damage and not DoTs so you might wanna use something like a fire sniper.

Well, then this achievement is bad from the gamedesign point of view: it forces players to go for the fire damage only, because you never know when this moment of crab spawn is going to happen. And if it not forcing players, then it's a bad gamedesigned achievement.

its an achievement and it dosent give you any benefits... its not forcing you to do anything

Hmm, maybe you guys should try voodoo or some kind of magic to help you with that:

3000 year old Cantonese legend says: Wear the costome of the char you play, go outside, put your arms up towards the sky and run for 30 minutes in a straight line while screaming "I need crabs" in your language.
