if its running at 100% that is the problem. if you turn all FPS locks off then your graphics card will work literally 100% trying to squeeze every single frame out of itself. turn it on and watch your usage drop significantly

I want to fps cap too... but there only can choose 72 fps c ap , I'm using 144hz

to lock at 144hz i had to use Nvidia Inspector. search some videos on it to figure out how

i use riva tuner that is packaged with msi afterburner to limit fps in my case to 90 so you could try that too
