Fact, i hate the auto shotgun weapon but i once got a +3 one that had a legendary inscription that said it shot +3 projectiles per shot without costing any extra ammo, had a +60% magazine size and +40% reload speed AND it was corrosive (12% chance to proc too)
iirc at full spool it shot 20-30 pellets and it instantly deleted everything up to the last boss, i was also in elite multiplayerw with another dude in a pub so enemies were stronger, it carried us up to the final boss, to which we didn't have a good enough long range option to deal with him and we lost.
but i repeat, i HATE the autoshotgun because it's too slow to spool up and the damage is really mediocre at best, but when ANY gun gets the legendary inscription of multishot it becomes a must have.
Yes that's exactly the weapon im talking about, the only reason why i got away with using it was because it dealt so much upfront damage, i just had to run up against an enemy, spray a couple of shots into his weakpoint and it would die, but using it normally it just takes wayy to long to kill anything and the spread is complete ass.
the porcupine weapon is also one of my favs but i wish they buffed the secondary fire mechanic, even at close range left click does more damage than landing all the needles with it's right click.
