Windows 10 Error - Must be ?

Every time I run Max Payne 1 and Mafia 1, I cannot run them in Full Screen mode - no matter what resolution I select they run in a window, and when I try to run Max Payne 2 it gives me this error:
An error has occured in the graphics engine. Try to downgrade your screen mode and/or other settings by pressing the "Options..." button in Max Payne 2 startup dialog. Max Payne 2 requires a Directx 9 Compatible display adapter. Please consult the troubleshooting readme in the installation folder.
Error: setFullscreen - creating the device failed : E_FAIL
Never had this before I upgraded to Windows 10 10 240 x64

Windows 10 is your issue then.

I'm still trying to get my retail copy to work on my windows 8.1 PC ... I don't even have any error message at all.

its too early
don't try to run windows 10 as of yet give it a yr or so

yea I get the same error and the window problem for max payne 1. I'm still trying to find a fix for it.

disabling anti-aliasing fixed the problem for me.
