Game-breaking glitch when playing on Windows 10 prevents me from moving on...HELP!

Ok, so i'm at the part where you have to protect Vinnie in the Captain Baseball- Bat Boy outfit late in the game. Everything works fine UNTIL when i get to the part where i have to open the balcony doors of his penthouse for him to go outside and jump down below. The problem is that he can't get past the balcony doors. He just keeps walking in place in one spot. Must be some kind of glitch in Windows 10 because i never had this problem in Window 7 before. Does anybody have a solution for this?..I tried verifying game cache, lowered my resolution, lowered the settings but nothing works. I hope somebody has a solution to this because this glitch is preventing me from continuing the game..Thank You!

That's happened to me before as far back as Windows XP. Try restarting the level again.

I'm replaying the game now on Windows 10 so I'll let you know whether I have the same problem.

Yep, same bug that's been around since the game came out. Nothing to do with Windows 10. Vinnie got stuck in the open balcony doors. Just walk into him from behind to push him over the threshold. It worked for me.

Same bug happened to me. I'm W10 user too. Bat Boy just opened the balcony doors and stuck there, walking to nowhere. And I just pushed doors to opposite way (Now doors looks interior of building) than waited Bat Boy to stuck at same point. When it happen, I just closed the doors, that pushes Bat Boy to balcony.

If you alt + tab out and back in - it solves this for me on win 10 : )
