I wouldnt recommend trainers, as most of them are virus ridden, but here is something that may help:
http://www.cheatcc.com/pc/maxpayne2.html
Try this for unlimited ammo, god mode, etc.
Look to where you have the max payne game installed in your libaray, and right click. Go to properties, and look to where it says set launch options. Open that, and put this:
"-developer"
Cllick apply and ok, if asked. Go into your game, and press f12. The developer console should open up. Type coder, then hit enter. Thats it.
I know about the developer console I just want unlimited bullet time mostly. Does anyone know if there is a way to modify the game files or something?
If you get trainers from gamecopyworld there are no viruses guaranteed.
OP, did the trainers from there not work?
Well, they can say that, but I don't use trainers. Think about it, would you really want to take a chance of infecting your computer, just to play game? Edit:CCC is not a trainer site.

RegenerationTime = 0.1;
And Gamecopyworld isn't a virus-spreading site, Trainers set off our over-zealous anti-virus software because by their very nature they are designed to go into the game executables to modify the values.
At best, people (mostly other trainer makers) don't like GameCopyWorld because it doesn't give much credit to the makers (CheatHappens and MrAntiFun both despise GCW), but no viruses.
But why would you need a trainer for such an easy game?
