People say "first South Park 3D game" like that's a good thing because...?

Played for about an hour so far. Gameplay is fun and I've had a several legitimate laughs already. I haven't even watched the show in forever, other than a couple of the Paramount specials recently.

My biggest issue with the game so far is the audio mix, which can be slightly improved by attenuating the music and dialog. There's a season pass, so the game will see support and hopefully be improved based on feedback.

I can imagine multiplayer will be even more fun but I'll have to try it later.

Ran around on Steam Deck for about a minute and it seemed to run well, but I can't really speak to that yet.

great summary looks like ill grab it then i'm seeing some positives from people who have actually played it. ill test it on my ally also

Thats kinda a petty reason to not like a game that is actually pretty good compared to its predecessors. Just sounds like someone had way to high a standards and expectations for South Parks FIRST 3D ANYTHING. Give them some slack my friend. *inserts eye roll and scoffs*
First South Park game on my N64 is 3D, i was just playing it this pastt week to warm up for return to 3D.
South Park N64 feels alot more like the source materials,
Other than the voicelines in this new game i almost don't associate anything in here with South Park...

Okay? The game references the other two games frequently. So, that’s a weird personal choice to make.

I enjoyed what I played so far.
The only big critique I have is the sound effects in the world.
I can barely hear any combat Sounds, even though I already lowered Voices and Music.
The combat would feel much better with some more and punchier sound.
Hitting enemies gives barely any audible feedback, especially noticeable when fighting is the core gameplay.

its fun for kids and boring for adults. which is the opposite of what south park should be about

Hm... that sounds like you might be encountering a bug. Please report it via the link in the following thread, with your dxdiag and zipped "Saved" folder attached, so the developers can investigate. Thanks.

Nobody at THQ Nordic noticed that the sound cuts out constantly as if it's going from surround to stereo? I thought my PC had a problem at first, then I watched gameplay videos on youtube and noticed it happens to everyone at all times. They need to force someone to play the game and listen.
