Max Payne

Mouse unresponsive
Using a logitech g9x, and the mouse movement seems to stop and start, mainly in the vertical axis. I'll be moving to aim, and instead of smoothly tracking around it goes a little bit then stops and then sort of jumps to catch up. It's very strange.
It works fine in other games and in windows.
I'm wondering if the DPI is too high and the game just can't process it.
Anyone else having any similar troubles? Any help would be much appreciated :)

I'm having similar issues with G9x. So far have not figured out how to fix this. Anyone got any suggestions?

EDIT: Ok, I think I solved the problem. It seems like Max Payne can only handle polling rate of 125. You can change this with your setpoint (pointer -> select polling rate). Not sure if this completely fix the issue, but atleast the game is playable with these settings. I hope this helps.

It's still not quite there (like you said) but it's a LOT better. Thankyou!

You can always set up the virtual controller using xpadder http://www.xpadder.com/ I've been able to play it using my xbox controller very nicely now :D

I'm a bit late to the party, but I had the same mouse issue, primarily on the vertical axis, using a Logitech G500. Maybe my experience can help others who also have this problem.

For me adjusting the polling rate did not help, but completely turning off mouse acceleration in the Logitech SetPoint profile did the trick.
