i think i know why (a little spoiler) in the beggining of max payne there's robbers in max payne's house and they kill a baby and it's even showed i think maybe that's why you can't buy it. Kid voilence in games is often censored or there's just no kids but the baby was important to the plot to make it more depressing

The game was sold normally but was removed after the remake was announced.

Now the game is available again but only in some countries. The reason for this? I have no idea.

For those who cannot buy the game through steam, as is my case, it is still possible to purchase global keys through green man gaming.

It never been delisted for some countries even after the announcement of the remake.

Max Payne 2 became available on August 1st after 1 year and 9 months of absence on Steam. But not Max Payne 1 for some reason. They both became unavailable at the same time. I wonder why the first one isn't here yet.

now it's unlisted in every country on this planet except of:
Norway, UK, Canada, USA, Poland, Switzerland.
