I have installed every patch, put it in every compatability mode, ran on administrator, etc. what happens is i open it up and it says "Do you want to allow an app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your device"? I say yes and it closes and max payne doesn't run. i have installed and tried everything. any help? this is the disc version btw

Did you not read the part where it said "tried everything"? I installed patches reccomended by people on steam, etc. theres no steam solution for this problem. have some reading comprehension

I am almost sure its because of the drm used, SafeDisc. SafeDisc and Securom do not work on newer version of Windows. I don't condone piracy on these forums but since you do own the actual retail game, you may need to look for a no cd program for Max Payne to bypass the old drm that is keeping it from working with Windows 10.

Not a problem :) I do believe that the steam version works because it had some kind of patch to either the exe for no cd or the drm simply was removed.

Let me know if it does work out for you!
