Missing MSVCP100.DLL

I've been having issues trying to get the game to run. If i try to launch it from steam it'll go to start but then immediately stop then when I try to run the ClientLauncherG as admin I get an error saying System Error MSVCP100.dll was not found. I have been trying for a couple days now to try and fix this and was hoping someone here could help.

That means the Visual Studio redistributables failed to install for some reason. Normally this installation should happen automatically the first time you run the game, but it's a known issue that this sometimes fails.

I believe the version you need is this one:

Unfortunately this didn't work. I uninstalled it, Reinstalled it, repaired it, and restarted the pc each time and for some reason C&C refuses to see the file.

Did you install both the x86 and x64 versions? I'm not sure which one is required by the game, since its classic game engine core is 32 bit but the remastered engine is 64-bit.

Note, there was a pretty elaborate topic about troubleshooting the redistributables a while ago, from someone who had the problem that apparently the 32-bit and 64-bit versions got mixed up. Maybe that topic can help you further:

I managed to get rid of the first error but now all im getting is the 0xc000007b and i followed the link you sent to a T and still get the error. :( starting to frustrate me
