There are no known official remaster or remake C&C project in the works right now. EA also never said they are gonna remaster another C&C so far so you're not missing anything.

Also, Command&Conquer 2 is actually Tiberian Sun, not Dawn of Tiberian.

the c&c remaster was a passion project for certain individuals at EA, like Jim Vessella. well, he is currently working for respawn. although it was a success i wouldn't expect an other remaster. there is just not much money to make for ea. these days it's a niche genre.

for example, on the question why blizzard isn't making starcraft 3, a blizz employee said that they made more money with the Celestial Steed, a mount in world of warcraft which was sold as micro transaction for real money, then the entire starcraft 2 game...

so yeah, it's all about the money.

the only way i see a new c&c remaster would be if ea allows petroglyph to use the ip "for free" and they make it a kickstarter.
