so, its been several years now, will they remaster red alert 2 and tiberian wars?

does anyone have the answer to this? it has been almost a year sense anyone has asked from what i can tell. i am able to play red alert 2 on Origin. but its the original version. and after playing many hours of the remastered version of red alert, i have become spoiled and really want to see red alert 2 remastered as well.

What's the problem ? This is a valid discussion by a user with a genuine wish. On it''s own one voice may not mean much but if everyone who wants this add their vote there is a chance it will get noticed. I for one agree and would like to add my vote.

People have been asking for C&C remasters for nearly a decade, what makes you think EA will magically make red alert 2 remaster out of the blue? They seem to not care, the community has been putting more effort keeping the franchise alive with moddings and unofficial online servers.

Idk why you would even Pay for this on steam... When OpenRa Is free to download.. and frankly i would donate to them.. they took all the old school Red alert " Counter, Retaliation,Command and Conquer, Tiberian ,Sun, Mixed them all up and remastered it with Pretty Graphics Better and smarter A.i. and even made it Online multiplayer soo u can S*** players with that Early game nader Rush.. they even Made the old school Dune as well.. they even Give u the Tesla Tanks..

they even Added Mods u can enhance ur game-play with and Have tons of funs with friends and Strangers a like .. Not knocking the steam version But they dont honor you if you Bought the game 20 years ago and still have the Original Cd and key-code for it

Just Google OpenRa and if u still have the old School cds U can Take some of the files and add them to the game for all the oldschool Music and what not

And i think they are going to release the Tiberian sun sometime Before Halloween

Openra has a completely different gameplay which is not appealing to some people. While the attempt to balance the units to make them all playable is worth giving credit, it is still far from perfect. The only good thing it has over the remastered collection is that it's free, but the original Tiberian Dawn and Red alert are free as well.

Agreed. And topic like these tend to end up with baseless speculations or complaining about EA's lack of action/care to do another game people are 'entitled' to.
