MCV unpacking does not work still?
When I played this game back when it came out or close to it, I had problems packing MCV from building back to vehicle and decided to play the game again and having the same problem again. It's just not letting me do it and I am on skirmish. Why has this bug gone unfixed for this long? It has been like 2 years at least.

Okay, apparently the redeploy hotkey doesn't do anything but if you try to click on the construction yard and then try to just left click anywhere out in open, it will then pack itself up and start moving as a vehicle again. I don't know if that's how it supposed to work or not instead of using hotkey but okay.

Huh? When and where does this problem occur? Does this happen in Tiberian Dawn or Red Alert? As long as the redeploy setting for an MCV is checked under settings, you can redeploy it somewhere else.

I see your second post. You can disregard my post now. I normally use the method you described.

It has always been like that. I don't think there's an undeploy button. Deploying a construction yard only sets it as primary building.

You never could unpack back into vehicle by default. There is an option for it in the rules file if I'm not mistaken but it never gets used in official maps or missions.

Well, in quick match, after you deploy MCV, you can't move it anymore, but in skirmish, you can set it can deploy again, if you want to make your CY turn into MCV, click CY then click anywhere you want, CY will turn into MCV and move, but you can't click black area you didn't scout.
