Stuck at Nod 8B and my harvester is on low health
I cannot avoid the A10s, I only managed to destroy one in one chance but I can't afford too many rocket soldiers because I don't have too much money (700), I can't make more money without the harvester.

Do I restart or skip this mission entirely? Unless there's a way to avoid the A10s.

One way to deal with the A10s is to put your harvester into the refinery when they come; then it disappears into the building and they're forced to find a new target. Though to pull that off, you generally have to save often, so you can load a previous save and predict more or less when they'll be coming.

Once you have medium tanks, those become the preferred target, and the harvester is safe, but I wouldn't be too sure the Weapons Factory itself won't be a target, and that thing is made of cardboard, so better to save up for the full 2800 and build them both right after an Airstrike passed.

Well that's sound like a good idea but I can't get the harvester into the refinery if it isn't carrying resources, I don't have enough time window to send it to gather some at the south.
I usually use medium tanks as bait. You probably need to take a few napalm hits before you can build one, just survive and make do with whatever forces you have while you build up your economy and tank army.

I wouldn't try to destroy the A-10s, they move quickly and it's near impossible to stop it before it bombs you given the little resources that you have and they'll just respawn another A-10 on the next airstrike.
They should only have time for 1 airstrike before you get medium tanks which become the target for future airstrikes. That said, redux mod gives harvesters auto repair up to 50% (like red alert) and increases weapon factory health.

Yea, generally, the issue is that people are simply not fast enough with the first part of the mission. Slowing down the game speed helps a ton to properly micromanage that without losing too much time.

At the start of this mission, it's essential to lure the enemy grenadiers into ambushes to get rid of them without losing everything. I generally make a wall of minigunners and then force-fire a Bazooka close to the enemy Grenadier to get it aggo'd.

An interesting trick there is that infantry can walk through a cell containing infantry of their own side as long as not all 5 spots are filled up, but infantry from a different side can't go through them. So you can aggro the enemy grenadier onto your Bazooka and then pull it back behind your line of minigunners.

South? Are you sure that's the A mission then? In the A mission, you are completely in the south.

The 2nd map is harder than the first here. If you're having trouble, you might want to switch.
I switched to B because after I captured the GDI base on A a horde of units came after my buildings. I don't recall having enough resources to defend myself. I'll do another try later.

Don't shoot any of the buildings or harvester. They really don't like it.
Switched to A again. I have captured the base and now I have a war factory. I have 5 medium tanks now. How many should I make? I usually do 12.

EDIT: Currently sandbagging my way into AI's base.

Defending yourself really isn't hard. All you need to take out a single Medium Tank is a couple of minigunners.

I play for the campaign, multiplayer and skirmish modes aren't of my interest. Getting actually good at the game isn't my goal.

That guide isn't for multiplayer or skirmish. It's for getting less frustration from the AI tanks crushing your troops in the campaign :steamhappy:
