Red Alert Unplayable Lag

Hi,

I just finished tiberium dawn and no matter how I run the game (preferably in a window), it is massively laggy for Red Alert. Videoes and in-game seem to have a better framerate but the mouse is clearly falling behind where it actually is and the lag is massively bad.

This is unplayable and I don't know where to go from here. I beyond have a graphics card and system capable of running this, so I'm a bit shocked what's happening here. Help appreciated.

There have been issues reported recently with some higher-end video cards. What exactly do you have?

Reported in the other thread. I highly doubt this has anything to do with my machine specifically at all.
Ran into new fun issues where all campaign progress (had to reload save, those weren't lost at least) and redo all the options I changed as none of it saves after you exit normally.

Game is super bugged.

by not answering the question of what are your specs i'm gonna go out on a limb and say your pc or laptop don't even meet the minimum requirements. without knowing what your hardware is we cant try to help you

He said in the other thread his card was an NVidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super, and I believe he mentioned an i7 processor.

But yea, it's really bad form to just tell people to look around in other threads on the forum because you already posted it somewhere. This is the thread you made, Iggy, so this is the place you should give that information. Not in a bunch of other threads you pointlessly bumped while still making your own thread about it too.

Think I found the source of your problem.
The menu and the game will lag when your internet is toggled on or off wile running the game.
Play it in offline mode if your just skirmishing.
You should probably check your internet connection.
