They've clearly done some work to improve the old video cutscenes which is great but why are TDs videos so much better quality than RAs? The RA one's are still quite fuzzy/blurry but TDs are pretty good overall.

Because the TD videos mostly show a head close-up briefing you, whereas the RA often show group scenes. Just compare the average TD briefing to, say, the interview scene with Möbius or the medium distance shot of Burdette. The quality drops quickly.

Yea, the amount of pixels available per actual head in the briefing scenes is staggeringly lower in Red Alert, so the upscale works a lot better on C&C1.
