Well, most of my patching work on C&C95 was in raw bytecode, not c or java. But, you own the remaster; you can check the credits and verify whether I'm "just some nerd" or not. You'll have to wait a bit until the "Community Council" bit scrolls past, though.

We obviously did discuss the possibility of further remasters with Jim Vessella, back then. But in the end that's not his own decision; getting projects planned and budgeted is a whole lot of bureaucratic mess internally at EA. Evidently, so far it hasn't happened.

I would've thought anyone that knows anything about C&C would know Nyerguds is basically important to the C&C community. I mean, he just told you what he did. He also has a lot of technical knowledge about this game.

Welp, apparently I have "hyper-ego" now, so... bow before me, peasants... I guess? If you feel like it? I really don't care, lol. That Confess dude just called me a nerd (which I undoubtedly am; I spent ten years digging through the game's bytecode lol), and I answered him.

And "E-celebs"? lol, I wasn't even invited to the community council initially; EA didn't even know who I was. Other people on the community council and on Reddit had to tell them about me before I was even added. I don't run any big website, and I don't have a big youtube channel or anything. I just got a few barebones-html pages of info on my patch and a moddb mod profile to my name, and that's about as far as my online presence goes.

For the record, I'm currently upgrading the map editor that came with this remaster, and I've already successfully adapted it to work with the classic files so it can also work without needing any of the remaster's files. So I guess I'm making myself useful?

lol... you say that as if EA's a person. It's not. I know some people at EA, but bothering them with this won't make any difference; "knowing" people isn't the same as "being able to make them do stuff for you". And there's not exactly any point in telling this to Jim Vessella, you know; I'm fairly certain he wants the same thing, and he already knows the proper channels to go through.
