Do I need a third-party launcher for this?

Like in the title. I want to get the game but I don't want to deal with origin or whatever it's called now. Can I just start the game through Steam without another launcher popping up?

Can confirm that there is no other launcher required. This game also doesn't come with Denuvo or other anti-consumer nonsense.

Feels weird to have such a good product from EA in the current year.

This was always a Steam game in its core. The Origin version is the ported one.
