Missions not ending
Anyone else had an issue with a mission not finishing even those you've destroyed all enemy units and done any other objectives? Happened a few times now, both on RA and TD, usually on the larger missions. I've repeatedly checked the map to make absolutely sure that there's no lone enemy soldier hiding somewhere but can't see see any. Not the end of the world, just annoying grr lol

Even the unmodded game creates ghost units everytime something is in production. For the AI said ghost unit also fulfills building prerequisites.

Just to give one more idea, I was once in the same situation while playing against NOD, because the AI for some reason sent an attack with their stealth tanks to an unreachable unit of my own, so they were just stuck somewhere on the map and undetected.

I only noticed them when I started to destroy my own units, forcing the stealth tanks to attack something else.

at the far top north east through the Bridge, there are 2 camo pillbox as well.

I killed everything. I had to reload a previous save to beat it. I hit a bug where the guy keeps showing up after I killed him. I made sure to kill him three times. (clones!) In the previous dead state one of his clones ran off the map at some point. Also I avoided building an Allies Tech center which does give you the GPS power, which is normally disabled for some reason in expansion missions (for allied missions). I had captured an allied MCV. Not sure if that messed something up.

Capturing the Allies base and building a GPS is pretty standard move on that mission. I'm guessing the saboteur had the same logic as the spy on the third soviet mission and stavros on the mousetrap mission. Those guys ran somewhere inside a building and a new "clone" of that unit spawns out when he needs to leave. So, if you kill the earlier saboteur, the game would still spawn another later.

I know this caused the Mousetrap mission to be softlocked, if you kill Stavros early when you're not supposed to, this earlier version of stavros won't trigger the next Stavros unit to spawn, the one where you actually need to kill to activate the win. Not sure if this is the same cause preventing you from winning the Besieged mission.

I never had a situation where mission didn't end unless I missed something.


Missed one? No, that's not what's going on here. As I stated before, everything and I do mean EVERYTHING has been destroyed. I have run several patrols throughout the map and have it fully revealed. There's no way I missed any personnel or structures GDI and civilian alike. Everything's been scrubbed. I've done it several times now and the issue still persists. It isn't on my end.

This is unfair and stupid. It's denying me my hard fought achievement. I only have this one and the mission after to complete. I've had no significant issues like this the entire time I've been playing with over 400 hours in. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed.

do you have any mods that causes Conflict with Campaign Missions?????

if got, then remove the mods and then play the mission from scratch.

Austria: Beseiged suffers from this problem. Seems that if the saboteur is killed early, the mission will not end no matter what you do.

I had that problem too. I think the saboteur was supposed to escape out of the map and arrive at the eastern base. Killing the saboteur at the eastern base is how you normally win.

The saboteur unit on the west doesn't have the win trigger and if he doesn't escape, the saboteur with the trigger would not appear. My buildings still blow up and him laughing even after I killed him at the first base.
