LAN mode: can't find each other's games

Does anyone have the same problem? My friend and i are on the same physical network (aka LAN) but we can't see each other's lobbies at all. It usually works in other games without problems and firewall doesn't pop up either.
We are a bit clueless right now.

Ye I did try, but it's not working either. Says can't connect.

Did you try offline mode? Maybe unplug both computer from internet.

umm. They do still need to be in the same network, you know.

I remember more players also complaining about bad connectivity or simply not
able to start an online / lan game, eventhough there's nothing wrong with their pc or connection settings

Maybe it's just an issue with EA servers ?

The whole point of LAN mode is that it doesn't use EA servers.

Can you ping eachother? If that works, you should be able to find eachother via LAN

Check if your firewall isnt blocking anything. And confirm you are connected to the same network. If nothing works, you can use Radmin VPN to connect yourself and your buddies to a virtual LAN server (i know pointless since you are in the same network but if it works it works).

Hmm thanks for your replies.... Yeah we can ping each other and our firewall was temporarily disabled aswell for testing purposes. It's really odd.

And ye we ARE on the same LAN connected via the same router. So I guess it should be playable without any internet connection.

Sadly no ...

You can test ZeroTier(it´s free) - i read this is working if real LAN is not working with this game.
