ore refinery and trucks
how do i get rid of the many ore drivers standing in one refinery waiting for the other trucks to take gold in i dont like that bug

i cant play it like supposed to if its like that in 95 version there was a way around but i dont remember it

Build more refineries. I usually have 1 refinery for each harvester I have. This is less of a problem in Red Alert though because trucks dump money instantaneously.

Same thing though. Just get more refineries so they don't waste time. Or just manually select the closer ones and let the unload first.

In Ra the ore miners tend to use the closest refinery. I just select a few and tell them to use another refinery

no they dont bad programming they wait for other drivers to dump ore i made silos why should i not game on hard becaus no ore even if i have 9 drivers in 1 refinery

Then don't make only 1 refinery with 9 trucks. And what about silos? They have nothing to do with ore truck behavior.

Actually, I think the trucks just stop when they're full but you don't have the silo capacity to make them unload. They may be referring to that.
i just did gam4e a session of skirmish and 3 ai hard i won but i notice trucks where stuck in each other so other units did not move when unloading gold i got no gold for a time. i had to evacuate base to get more gold i was under attack by 2 bases i think they copuld buid these ai nukes air naval i think i had to like in 95 destroy the pore trucks blow up bridges have many tesla coil and they should be like 95 good fast and with the waters they should have cruiser ai and human should have subs to blow them i think it sohuld be hard like have tanya shot 1000 troops on its way and mammoth tanks hard like to win like they must send rockets on troopers so on i think its useless to put them in guard mode they should always guard automaticly it was just usefull in 95 because they was looking in front of base attacking ore having distance. i think easy can be hard i try easy i mined 90 thousand while ai mined nothing like mediaum can be very hard hard can be nightmare

Skirmish is far too easy, it's fun but you can play 7 hard AI opponents on Fastest speed and win easily as Allies or Soviets and against 5 opponents as GDI or NOD in TD.

I can't tell if you are still on topic here, but the remasters did change the harvester AI for both games. I just had a game where I built 2 refineries and the harvester is literally going around waiting for the occupied refinery to finish loading when there's an empty refinery I built right next to it.

This never happened in the original as they will immediately drive to the closest empty refinery if there is one. But I like said, building more refineries reduces the chance of having harvesters driving around an occupied ref. Better than building 9 trucks with 1 refinery.

The change is that harvesters get "assigned" to a refinery now. It means you can prevent them from trying to pathfind to completely inaccessible refineries (like, across water), which was an issue in the original game.

Would've been better if they indeed just made it specifically check for the closest refinery it could pathfind to, but this was the solution they went with.
