let me ask you these questions
1) is Red Alert universe the same as the Command & Conquer universe??????
2) are GDI and NOD in the Red Alert Universe in the first place?????? are the Soviets and Allies in the Command & Conquer Universe in the first place?????
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
also, "Warnstaff" usage of the word "crossplay" is the wrong word.
the correct word is "crossover" in this case.
and there are games like marvel vs capcom Crossover games as well.
sonic and mario olympic games are also called Crossover Games too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
all in all, the answer is a definite "no" to the thread and question OP is asking.
You did not plan on cross play, but yet your asking about crossplay Playing gdi/nod in red alert, would be a cross over as they are 2 seperate games, different ip's. They are not linked.
You also realise they are both basically the same question only worded differently.
They are not actually set in the same universe as such. Though I do understand the confusion. They were kind of planning a link, as per the ending of red alert, then promptly forgot all about it. (or people point out that the time travel could have causesed a whole new timeline).
Then explain why, in the source code, C&C1 and RA1 are two separate folders.
The engine went through quite some changes between the two games.
It's not about putting anything into anything else. It's the basic simple fact that it's not there to start with. This isn't a topic about modding, it's a topic about what options are available in the games.
You're really just attacking me for the sake of attacking me at this point
