And why is it a problem to make 1 phone call?

In worst case they can remaster something else, there are plenty RTS IPs, or even better rather make new C&C.

EA can't ever buy Activision, That would break the Monopoly Law.
No company can have more than 50% of the market in anything.
It's why Disney can never buy DC Comics, or the current owner of DC comics, Warner Brothers.
Because then they'd have 90% of the comic book market.

This was set in stone in the 80s, when AT&T was forced to break up into multiple companies.
That's where we got all of our different phone companies. :P

Now, maybe EA and ACtivision combined wouldn't break the 50% rule, but it would be a big enough deal that the Federal Trade Commission would instantly stop them. :P

Any huge merge requires government authorization.

No merger of any company can be done if it breaks that rule.

i think ea can afford to have dark colonies or dark reign at least. they dont need the whole department of activision. by the way to be honest cod warzone is doing so so good. yes some cods had bad luck. but it seems they still make a lot of money. the battle passes are way more approachable now. 10 euro only and if u play enough(not even grindfing) you get 1300cp which means u can buy another b pass free with in game currency you earned. and if u play moderatelyy you will always be able to buy the nnext pass with ingame currency. they made it livable and the word of mouth makes this game wipe battlefield series away due to the rampant cheating in BF servers.

but on topic dark reign and dark colonies kknd should be bought by either sega or ea thats my opinion
