-Dune IP
is just 1 phone call to Denis Villeneuve
he is working for 2020 Dune Reboot.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_(2020_film)
As they need a PR game for the movie, Dune 2000 and Emperor sounds perfect.
Yeah but it's not official. It's the same thing with Earth & Beyound, it's not really back.
But he doesn't own the licence (Herbert Properties LLC does), he only has permission to make a movie with the IP.
In worst case they can remaster something else, there are plenty RTS IPs, or even better rather make new C&C.
No company can have more than 50% of the market in anything.
It's why Disney can never buy DC Comics, or the current owner of DC comics, Warner Brothers.
Because then they'd have 90% of the comic book market.
This was set in stone in the 80s, when AT&T was forced to break up into multiple companies.
That's where we got all of our different phone companies. :P
Now, maybe EA and ACtivision combined wouldn't break the 50% rule, but it would be a big enough deal that the Federal Trade Commission would instantly stop them. :P
Any huge merge requires government authorization.
Sorry, but the Anti-Monopoly Law trumps your massive misunderstanding of how things work.
No merger of any company can be done if it breaks that rule.
THis is an impossible thing to counter by any company.
They Sabotaged Blizzard to a point people don't take them serious any more and did beat Call of Duty to a point of non relevance.
If they don't change they Business model, I dont see that company anywhere in near future.

This is Dark Reign's official Discord channel, and there are usually around 90 people online or so, most of the times - some nice matches usually come to fruition as a result of this channel.
The game can be downloaded free of charge** from this website:
https://www.darkreignws.com/
(**Ask me not about the legal matters here as I am not fully aware of the situation, though as far as I know, the artists/developers have ceased making money from the sales of the game long ago, and this includes GOG's version - this was told me by one of the Discord channel's moderators)
Lastly, you have the Youtube channel relating to this same community which, granted, has not been updated in a while, but showcases some nice matches (including team games) nonetheless:

Hope to see some of you soon!
Cheers!
but on topic dark reign and dark colonies kknd should be bought by either sega or ea thats my opinion
I would rather like them to remaster 4 games, than 2.
And EA has plenty of IPs
I would like to have Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds back in HD
