Dark Reign was good but you've got no chance of seeing anything from that IP again, Activision own it and they have 0 interest in making RTS titles outside of letting Blizzard maybe do another StarCraft.

Yeah i tend to make any topic that brainstorms into my mind. anyone here who played cnc back in the day knows about these lost gems

it's just something that gets into you like nostalgia. and as crazy as unlikely as things seem to be sometimes. who knows if this sells like hotcakes ea might consider RTS
sega became big because of total war. not only did they become big with that IP they managed to pay all their debts and they have even more money than they had as a console maker

RTS is an appreciated genre that goes under the radar because the community is silently succesfull.. it is not a vocal community. therefor is just posted this crazy or not crazy i have the right to and i appreciate the genre

i bought cnc remaster an di normally dont pre order if that tells you something

It would make more sense to ask EA for RTS IPs, they do actually own, like STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds.

lol, don't be so quick to judge; the physical special editions don't show up here as purchases since the keys for that aren't given out yet. Not even mentioning the fact I'm a contributor on the remaster project; I'm on the Community Council.

Why would they? They already have a Sci-Fi RTS that is much more popular and makes more money than a new Dark Reign ever could, to Activision Dark Reign doesn't exist.
