Why is Command & Conquer™ The Ultimate Collection not on steam ?
it has all good Command & Conquer Games like Red Alert 2 and Generals also Renegade so why not bringing it on steam along side some other good games as well like Medal of Honor , The Saboteur and Alice ?

this is a question for ea's twitter account, not the steam community forum....

to answer your question, because valve don't make decisions about where other companies decide to sell their games.

I dont use twitter dude and some of the developers do answer questions like these in other companies, and its steam community forum for a command & conquer game so ofc the developers can see what i just posted and probably give me the answer, like saying the reason why they cant or can add it on steam etc

I'd imagine it's not profitable for EA.

it is, people would love to play C&C Generals or Red Alert 2 multiplayer again through steam, and they're releasing their games back on steam so why not releasing their old best games like Medal of Honor Series tho or the rest of C&C or even Alice, i personally if i see any of those come to steam again i will buy them right away

Then that should give you a good idea of how interested EA is in publishing it on Steam, regardless of how many times people ask.

I dont use Twitter either as I learn Companies only respond to such things on there if there is a major backlash on a certain subject. Still Im surprised EA is still in business considering they are known as the death of popular computer game companies but I guess Westwood isnt the one who remastered Command and Conquer and Red Alert.

Westwood hasn't existed for over a decade, so, big duh there. But Petroglyph contains some of the key developers of those games, so they were the obvious choice.

uh didnt Westwood Create the Command and Conquer as well as the Dune series in the early 90s? Pretty sure it was just bought by EA towards the late 2000s.

So, two decades then? Point is?

Not "just bought". Bought and disassembled. A lot of people from the original team immediately left when Westwood Studios itself was closed down by EA. The remainder who stayed with EA would become the EALA branch, and would go on to make C&C Generals and Zero Hour. Those who left have generally spread out all over the gaming industry, but a small group of them decided to stay together and create their own new company to make video games.

And that company is Petroglyph. The guys who did this remaster. They include some of the key devs that made the original games, and Frank Klepacki, who composed all the music in them.

So, in a way, yes, they're as close to "Westwood Studios" as they could get.

I'd surely buy it on steam :steamthis:

They want people to buy it on Origin. Then you might buy more game on Origin and EA gets more money. That's why.
