How to apply for Beta testing?

Glad to see the original westwood team involved in this. is it possible to apply for beta testing of future patches through steam? I was a beta tester for a few command and conquer things in the good old days would like to contribute in whatever way possible again :)

Short and and simple answer: You can't

It is only for a close very selected few longtime C&C community veterans including the developers.

You can try contacting the developers or something to try your luck but I would say it's very unlikely because even most longtime community veterans was not granted access to any of the game's beta build.

No, we all got chosen for our specific expertise with the game. Me personally, I'd been digging into the game logic of C&C95 for over 10 years to patch the game, so even long before the source code release, I had some very in-depth knowledge of what bugs existed in the game, and in some cases, how to fix them.

The actual internal communication is on Discord, actually. Reddit is just where Jim posts public updates and does polls and such.

That said, the only testers I know of are the community council and EA's QA department, but feel free to send in any bug reports, either here, on the C&C Discord, or the official EA Answer HQ support forum. We see those things and pass them on.
