Red Alert 2 seems to be missing from Steam, am I wrong am I missing something?

It was never on steam. The first C&C game on steam is tiberium Wars. The earlier titles were never here.

If they did pull it out of steam, there should still be traces of its community hub, which I can't find. Tiberian twilight was removed as well, and I can perfectly find its community hub.

I can get the game ready within minutes, what I want a remaster like C&C so I can get tons of exclusive details, improved cinematics, and more excuse to finish it all with some silly achievements here on Steam.

Personally, I just want a version of RA2 that works properly and doesn't crash every 20 or so minutes.

Right now we have the original version that works but no borderless window, no proper resolution or any modern or even just semi-modern quality of life stuff.

Or we have the CnCnet version which is more unstable than day one New Vegas.

i was searching for RA2 now EA has 90% off they are in offer but u can only get red alert 3 tiberian wars 3 and comand and conquer tiberian sun and red alert 1 remastered i buy all of them but saddly in steam is not possible have generals saga and RA2 only in origin.

It's Tiberian Dawn remastered on steam, not Tiberian Sun.

too bad red alert 2 is not available at Steam :(
i have the original DVDs but cant install them on my WIN10/64 system. so the only way is to buy the game again at origin? is this really the only option?

yes thats the only option unless you manage to find a win xp pc for cheap (win 7 no longer allows disc installs either)

Yeah sadly Origin is the only place I know where you can get RA2.

I advise caution though, I bought the C&C collection on Origin years ago and less than half the games actually worked for me..
RA2 if I remember right would load but never worked right and crashed constantly..

Hardly surprising though, give EA money.. get broken games.. nothing new there.

The C&C collection has games in its original form, which is not compatible with newer PC. You need a third party patch to fix them.
