Purchased it as I enjoyed it back in the day. I have no intention of playing a single match online. I may never even clock it

Most people bought for campaigns, maybe some mp matches with friends, but that's it

The game was on consoles and was popular during the dial up era. Most people remember it for singleplayer.

Pretty sure CnC's multiplayer only got big (relative) during Red Alert 2 and Generals.

Unfortunately, not everyone can or wants to pay 20 euros per game

I am probably only going to play the few multiplayer games to finish the few achievements I need to 100% the game. Other then private matches I very rarely play multiplayer other than skirmish.

its 3% of all the people who bought the game.
Not buying the game has nothing to do with it.
Myself I dont care about C&C mp and only bought it for sp.

Bought for campaigns and occasional games with friends.

Buying C&C for any other reason is dumb.

ye.
At og release it might have been worth buying for multiplayer, but nowdays there are so many more rts games that just does multiplayer way better.

I bought it for campaign, RA1 missions are extremely fun to play, especially with expansion missions. I honestly don't care about multiplayer at all, for RA1, as it's kind of unbalanced mess and doesn't really have fun elements in it. Remastered soundtrack and bonus content is great as well, it was definitely worth the money. I would buy if they came up with more expansions/missions, which sounds very unlikely given that nobody would spend time to draw 30 year old sprites for an outdated engine :D

Been playing C&C games since the '90s, I've only played one RTS multiplayer match in my life and that was in Tiberian Sun at a LAN Party. I've just got no interest in RTS multiplayer as it seems that certain popular "strategies" compel you to play the game in a specific way so as to either counter those strategies or play those strategies.

3% of players who bought the game but tons of ppl buy games and never even launch it, while this does not have an obvious achievement to tell that some games have and it happen every single time. I bet you if there were an achievement for seeing either of the 2 main menus, it would at best be at 75% as well, and that is probably highly placed

They need to make it so you can run mods in your custom online games. It will improve things greatly.

I'd go less

Highest achieved achievement is only at 61.5%
Mission Casualties
Destroy 100 units in a single mission

55.6%
Capture X16-Y42
Complete GDI Mission 1

Well I've played the game for 40 hours and haven't got those achievements because I started with RA and its expansions. That's why the achievements are so spread out.

In most RTS games the majority of people play either campaign/skirmish or lan with friends.Very few people play competitively.

In Starcraft 2, which is the most popular competitive RTS game right now, its most popular mode is Co-op Commanders. Most people play co-op there.
