I wish they made some skin pack that would change appearance of soldiers and vehicles more towards the TS era. Or of course the Tiberian Sun remaster, but that will take some time.

There should be law against making cartooned graphics... that's what sinked StarCraft 2 as a serious game and sequel. Only dumb children in esport groups thought it was "cool".

As for starcraft 2, I completely agree with you, but the worst thing about it is not the graphics, but a change in the mechanics in the gameplay for casuals.

In remaster starcraft 1 graphics at the right level, gameplay too.
Also in remaster starcraft 1 there is a wonderful mod that turns the game into a kind of cartoon, it helps to join the classic gameplay of new players, and not to starcraft 2
