Allied Mission 10 Parts 1 & 2 in Red Alert 1
Near the end of Allied Mission 10 of Red Alert, the player gets a cutscene saying that 4 Atomic Missiles were launched. After the player captures the command center, the stage is not over even though the player has won the first part of the level?

Is this one of those levels in which its a 2-Part Stage, since Part 1 is the base building and attacking and Part 2 takes place inside the Command Center where the player need to escort the engineers to the Launch Terminals to stop the missiles within 1 Hour?

Yes, the time remaining carries over so the longer you take to capture the command centre the less time you have for the next mission

So the 1 hour countdown begins near the end of part 1 and continues in part 2? How does the countdown cutscene get triggered? When you attack the base down to its breaking point?

I think if you destroy enough critical base structures, breach the wall around the command center, or shut down the power, then that triggers the missile launch. You can safely kill the ore truck and their base defenses without causing this, though.

Does capturing structures count as the missile launch cutscene?

Dunno, never tried it. I assume the mission script just counts that as being the same as if you destroyed the building. I always just play it safe and stay the hell away from the base until I'm ready to storm the command center.

So if you captured the structures, it wouldn't count until you sell the captured structures in that level?

I can be wrong (again) so let's say "IIRC", whatever you do, at some point the atom bombs are launched (for instance if you take too much time before attacking the base).

You should deploy your base as fast as possible, use helicopters to weaken enemy units (v2 and heavy tank around your path to the command center), then launch an assault through the enemy base, while your APC loaded with engineers rushes to the CC. Watch for the anti-personnel mines around the CC. You should only lose a few minutes (iirc, 40 minutes are far enough to finish the next mission).

That, I don't know. I guess you can try it and find out.

Edit: the C&C wiki page for this mission spells out the conditions that trigger the launch: https://cnc.fandom.com/wiki/Suspicion
