Tiberian Historian Achievement - Stuck at 86/87
I've finished all of the mission in Tiberian Dawn, and in the bonus gallery it appears everything is unlocked. However i'm stuck at 86/87 in the achievements counter.

Has this happened with anyone else? I even replayed the final NOD campaign 4 bloody times, just to get all 4 possible endings thinking that maybe that had something to do with it. No luck.

do you have stars in every mission?
eXoScoriae Jun 10, 2020 @ 10:44pm
Yes. I actually just went and checked and I have 88 bonus gallery items unlocked. It counts up to 87, but there is also a 00 item (the EVA install).

So while I have every bonus gallery item unlocked, it appears the game screwed up when counting the achievement. Unlocked an item without actually counting it as unlocked or something...

It could be a steam problem too, if you lost connection just as one of those achievements was supposed to be added up. Happened to me on other games.

I seemed to find a solution to it. Actually I found it somewhere on steam discussions about a diffferent achievement bug, but couldn't find the original post now. So first disable steam cloud then go to disc > Program Files (x86) > steam > userdata > 112994576 > 1213210 > remote. here delete Player_TD_settings_1 but keep it in your trashbin don't delete it from there. Then start a new game and play the first two missions again. Or just play the first mission, exit game, delete Player_TD_settings_1 again and play the first mission again. I played the first Nod mission on Hard difficulty two more times like this and achievement popped up. Don't forget to put your original Player_TD_settings_1 file back into it's folder.

Thank you, Ironbound! This worked perfectly for me.

Do you know if this works for Red Alert as well? I'm having the same problem as OP but for Red Alert.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! This worked perfectly for me. I deleted the Player_TD_settings_1 file in the directory location, did not delete it from recycle bin. Ran Tiberium Dawn, completed Nod1 on Hard. Tiberian historian flew up on the overlay as soon as Nikoomba died!
