While you can build 1 building at a time, for infantry you can only build one at a time there as well. However, there is a queue system that appears to allow up to 99 units to be queued up, and it builds in order of the queue, so while it's still making 1 unit at a time you can queue it so it'll build a rocket infantry, then a medic, then a normal rifle infantry, etc. Same thing goes for the vehicles. The amount of war factories and barracks you make will not change that.
As for units, you can simultaneously build different types of unit types (infantry, ground vehicle, navy and airforce) but only one unit at a time each. Having multiple factories does not give extra queue, only speed up build/training time for units.
Building multiple units at a time based on the number of production buildings was introduced in Generals.
BTW, multiple build can increase build/train speed, but that is not work on aftermath, aftermath's build/train limit is 2, so even you build 10 warfactory, training speed is same to 2 warfactory.
Train 2 tank at same time will happen even with original, but build 2 building at same time you need to use AI-Boost mod.
Then another thing will happen on AI is barrack has no enough space for infantry, but AI still can train infantry, then if you kill infantry at barrack entrance, and that AI is Soviet/Ukraine, you'll get free giant bomb (Grenadier dies will explode, then lots grenadiers die at same time can cause huge damage.)
BTW, you can capture AI's tank or other things come out warfactory, engineer capture warfactory, and warfactory just has new tank/ore truck come out, then you can get free tank/ore truck, same to helipad, I'm not sure this will work on barrack or not.

It's not a big deal in later C&C games since separate build queues on different factories exist.
