Direct3d 11 required

i keep getting an error direct3d 11 is required when i launch the new c and c remastered

Does your GPU support DX11? It clearly says on the store page that you need it

i have a geforce 1050 ti so it should

Im having the same damn problem, dont know what to do to fix it. I tried the fix Jin suggested and the download stopped because a newer version was already installed on my PC. Slightly confused as to what to do here gang. Anybody have any other suggestions?

If you download, unpack, and then install the full package as Admin, it will force install it:

Windows has a sorry tendency to "dismantle" itself. This also goes for Visual Studio C++ libraries as well - it often helps to reinstall them.

Ok how do I install the full thing as Admin? I am the admin....sorry not real computer savvy to be honest, if stuff doesn't just work when I ask it to I'm screwed lol

Try this, assuming you're on Windows 10:

Download the Add_Run_as_administrator_to_Context_Menu.reg file, run it, click yes to add it to the registry, and reboot. Then in the folder you've selected to extract the Directx files to, right click DXSETUP.exe, and run as Administrator.

Sometimes you might need another reboot after install.
