When I set game speed to max, then it still slow.
actually, it's up to the game engline and how it processes that many moving objects at a time, RA2 used to slow down like that back then, and these days, i have a much better computer, but the engine still causes slow down at roughly the same number of units
I have only 7 tesla tanks, 10 troopers.
Computer have 15 tanks and 24 troopers
And it's all. Game can't work with this amount of units))
We are in 2020, the remastered version should have been solved this problem!!! We are not in 1995!
With these few units it sounds like a client side issue. Just went through a nightmare of a campaign without any speed issues -- had at least 40 infantry out at one point along with at least 10 vehicles while they had at least 30+ units combined.
so i guess this game tried to tell me that dont fight, lol.
What resolution are you running the game at?
This means internally the game's engine can only run as good as the computer in the past... Regardless of what hardware you got.
The only fix is hard modding this game to operate better, but that requires hacking into the core source file, which I doubt EA wants you to tamper with.
Open RA is still superior in every aspect over this, upon checking out this game's files and folders it turns out you are essentially 'emulating' the classic game with a new skin and better audio :P
Game data still uses the 'CD' folders for their assets, and there is a freaking 'setup' executable left in there.
