When I try to join a Red Alert multiplayer game I receive a error message saying "unable to join the session, make sure you are running the correct game.

Is it trying to tell me that I'm somehow trying to join a Tiberian Dawn game even though I'm running Red Alert?

I managed to join couple of lobbies, but didn't have patience for waiting the game to start. But the automatic matchmaking found be couple of games and I managed to play them. But it also stopped working and it was saying something about connection lost to server. Probably the servers aren't working properly because so many people are trying to play

Ha-ha-ha! This is not remake, this is remaster. AI is not changed and still weak like in 90`, Multiplayer is not changed and still poor like in 90` Boyz, for what you pay 20$?

I have been happy so far. I think they've made amazing job. Even triple AAA games have server troubles during the launch days

I tried turning off my VPN and then managed to join a couple of games, but it seemed to be random whether I were denied access to the lobby room, hosted by a friend.
Not because 'the game is full', but with the same error message mentioned by OP ("unable to join the session, make sure you are running the correct game").

And *more* than that - when we finally were playing a game, I continually got "CONNECTION LOST" and was continually thrown out of the game (often initiated with a 0:30 countdown). I had very laggy experiences (despite having 6 GB ram, which is 2 more than the recommended for C&C Remastered).

Still having these random issues even after the patch today.

I play with my friend and the best way to make a match work is to both reboot our game client EVERY TIME we create a new game otherwise it's just impossible and we waste tons of time to play together.

I hope these network issues will be addressed ASAP because this is really pissing us off.
