Guys limit your frames to monitor max. You get freezes because of that. I have zero issues with similar system what have been posted here. Mine is locked to 144fps Gsync.

This can be done in Nvidia control panel

Yeah I'm getting super bad FPS drops. Turning off v-sync helped. I'm confused, my computer is far away from being a toaster.

First mission soviet of Red alert, and yes I have 20 fps....
Amd Ryzen 7 2700x
16go ram
GTX 1070
without v-synch I go from 4xx fps to 2xx... so it is not really better...

UPDATE: Seems I was wrong, I am still getting massive fps drops in RA1. And yeah tanya shooting barrels almost froze the game.

hmm sounds like an engine bug

With vsync off I get about 800fps, but random drops to 200 or so. Which you wouldn't think would be a big deal, but it hitches like crazy when it happens and it's super noticeable. Turning vsync back on locked it at 60 and seems to be fine now :S Ryzen 9 3900x, RTX 2080 Super.

Almost happened to me as well. Aside from that moment theres some jittery fps motions when it comes to explosions. The after mission screen where it tallies everything up also goes in somewhat slow motion until it gets to the numbers.

Same here. Hope they will fix it soon.

This is exactly what is happening to my game right now. Though turning v-sync doesn't help, at least in RA1 it doesn't.

Same here - even with v-sync turned off, I have significant fps drops during explosions. This happens in Tiberian Dawn, I haven't tested Red Alert yet. It must be some sort of bug.
