Command & Conquer™ Remastered Collection

Command & Conquer™ Remastered Collection

Statistiche:
Will there be C&C: Tiberian Sun remaster / remake?
I always really liked the visual style and design of this game, I don't think later Command & Conquer games really managed to create an engaging narrative and the games weren't futuristic enough, in my view.

There was a lot of new features in Tiberian Sun (destructible terrain for example) that I think could be improved even further with a modern game engine. There were also some parts of the game that the Westwood team just never quite finished, there's an excellent postmortem of the game here:

So, I think it would make an excellent candidate for a modern Remaster, hopefully with a larger budget, or a less rushed development phase?

Here's some fascinating concept art created for the Command & Conquer 3 game originally planned by Westwood, as Tiberian Sun's sequel:

It reminds me of the future war in the original terminator film a bit :D

Maybe C&C 3 'Westwood / Petroglyph timeline' one day!

May the legal battles commence

We can only hope. For now....
Tell everyone you know to buy this remaster and the chances grows higher.
I hope so. Tiberian Sun was the last great game in the franchise for me.

Lets hope and buy this one so that increases the chances
Yes please!

Bought this one because the guys at Petroglyph did it. Now i am hoping for Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 remasters.

Such good memories.
If they do, I hope they do a directors cut option which introduces all of the cut content they had to take out because of time constraints.
+1 Tiberium Sun was imho a great game - much love for good ol' cnc - but generals would be amazing too :>
I don't know if the Petroglyph folks worked on Generals when EA took over Westwood, i may be wrong.

Hadn't they been absorbed/spat out from EALA at that point? Wasn't Westwoods last RTS Emperor just after RA2?
Emperor: Battle for Dune was a great game, and I think gave a glimpse of some of the plans and improvements they had in mind for their next C&C game.

I remember it ran like crap until I got a better PC and there were initially problems installing the game (something to do with the CD install setup program).

Yepy supported first remaster... to help them to remaster also tiberium sun. To me Tiberium Sun is the est command and conquer.
Hope so, I always found TS really hard but it was really fun. The maps were massive.
If they did a remaster or remake of Tiberian Sun, should it be in a modern 3D graphics engine, or more traditional 2D / 2.5D type of engine?

Just do what they did here: 4K remaster with all the extras. Give it a new engine and it suddenly becomes an excuse for a remake which ends up being ♥♥♥♥ like C&C4
