Pre-Install Help

I am new to Steam. I play most of my games from old DVD's and have only ever used Steam for 1 game. I per-ordered C&C RM and got an email with my key. I cannot figure out how to install it from steam. If i go to buy it it wants to charge me; figured there would be some sort of per-order box or something. Any help would be great

On your page, there is a small button down bottom(on the left) that reads "Add A Game" and has a big + sign in a square. Click that, and enter your key.
