Note that these guides mention that the formats still contain a lot of unknown stuff, generally in triggers and team types. The Remaster's editor, however, is built by people with access to the source code, so all these unknowns should be labelled now.
I believe you can plop things down in skirmish maps as well if I'm not mistaken.
True but I got ways around that. I just like to fart around in it anyway.

Nice! I had never touched the editor's for these particular games before, but I've dabbled in and did my fair share of strung together Starcraft maps with triggers and what-not back in the day.
Will be interesting to delve into and check this out.
I have to admit at the first mention of the map editor in the reveal trailer and features, I just assumed skirmish/multiplayer but this opens it up and increases the value substantially :D
