I got a fan patch that sorted most of this out, only issue is if I want modern resolutions the UI doesn't scale with them, making it tiny but otherwise it runs fine.
check out the mental omega mod, lets you play the game in hd sorta.
Red Alert 1? ... F___ That!
Red Alert 2 or GTFO
Oh? It's not on GOG? Whoops, my bad! Even more reason to fix the old baby up!
I will thanks. As long as it makes it so that the game doesnt crash every 5 seconds then I'm also fine if it does more than just fixing compatibillities.
The 2nd Game is not included...
RA2 requires its own approach since is completely different from the first two games. TS requires its own approach too. Because once again it was build from the ground up when they developed it back then.
Some people need to realise that back in the day, you only wrote code that worked specificly with certain systems. It's not something you can remaster nilly willy. I rather have a good remaster than a half assed one.
As long as they dont screw this up and consumers like and buy it, RA2 can be a possibillity.

Of course it can requires a lot to remaster a game but it's not like we would get it for free.
Their reward would be our money, it seems pretty fair to me.
