Why not just make a Command & Conquer: Generals 2 instead?

I'm just hoping other remasters are on the way seeing how they gave us this one. I'd be happy if they remade all the command and conquer games. Generals is my personal favorite out of the series because of the GLA scud storm/launchers.

Id rather have someone else make a spiritual successor or buy the IP from EA than EA ruining the entire franchise forever, like theyve done to every other series they own. Or you know, just stay dead. Staying dead is a better fate than in the hands of EA.

Actually, Elon Musk is against the current day snowflakes. That's why he bought and rebranded twitter. He would support EA decision if they were going for generals.

Why? Simply because C&C Generals was released in 2003 during USAF operation in Afghanistan in Iraq and after 9/11 day.

Would like to add that red alert 2 was released some time near the 9/11 attack and it was still well received.

Lol Red Alert 2 predicted the world trade center attack & the attack on the pentagon all in one game. 1 mission youve gotta defend the trade center & the other one is defend the pentagon & for the Russian missions it's Destroy the Pentagon & the Trade Centers.. Game came out in 2000 somehow it for tell something very very historic..

It didn't predict anything. Those are just iconic targets. And the world trade center itself doesn't actually get attacked in RA2, it's just in the background behind what's happening. In fact you can garrison the two towers with troops IIRC.
