Why would they not? it's Command and Conqueror, and there best one.

C&c generals is a EA los angels game and not a westwood game. Let them remaster older ones and then maybe generals.

♥♥♥♥ that we've been waiting for a new cnc generals for almost 15 years. We almost got CNC Generals 2, until EA molested Westwood.

In what regard is Generals a C&C game? It had C&C added to boost sales. As back then the franchise had a lot more impact.

Aside from that it has nothing in common with the original series.

You caring or not is not really the point. It's mood to complain about a spin off series on the remaster of the main series.

Will you also complain on the AoE 2 remaster forum that it doesn't center around Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds?

Never liked Generals. It was fine as a spin off but it's not C&C.

It really is lol, considering i'm a person that would be buying the product. I have no interest in playing a game i never played the first time. When that game came out i was probably playing Age of Empires or Empire Earth, true RTS that have stood the test of time. C&C original wasn't even a piece of dust in my eye then.

Later on Generals came, and I had a new favorite RTS to add to my collection, one that i was honestly proud to have played and still play.

Well if you like generals i hope you get a remaster too. I found it a bit boring to my taste after tiberian sun and red alert 2. Generals was a more "realistic" take on c&c and i can understand why it is liked by others. The problem is that there is no functioning version of the older c&c(1, 2 , tiberian sun) games on modern spec computers. I was dumb enough to buy that c&c collection from 2005 on origin and almost none of those older titles work.

If generals is boring it's because you are playing Vanilla, that's like playing Skyrim Vanilla people do it, but they are the same people who inhale paint for fun.

As far as that collection i bought it origin as well as on steam, it seems just as I bought it multiplayer support for generals was just getting flushed.

My family had no internet to mod generals sadly back then. Was mod scene popular on it? That would totally explain why it is so liked. And generals dev team made battle for middle earth games using that same engine if i remember correctly so it has cool history.
