That would be a disaster considering some of the games are hard to get running correctly on Windows 10. That's a big reason they're remastering Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert in the first place.

I'm sure that if this remastered collection does well, they will move on to remaster more of the other games in the series.

Remastering Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 would be so awesome.

I was running the original Red Alert just fine on Windows 10. I'm more concerned about running Red Alert 3, though, since it has a hard 30fps cap, which cannot be disabled.

I got them all running on Windows 10, the worst case scenario (Red Alert 2) takes fives minutes of Googling and editing to solve. The problem is how low-res the graphics are, and that RA3 runs at 30fps.

i have it with orgin prime n i run them fine aswell C&C og game ran perfectly like it did all those yrs ago in the 90s

Might be better if they just remaster them. It's why I'm looking forward to this remaster since the ones on Origin are literally unplayable in there current state.

I didn't say you can't run them. I said they can be hard to get running correctly. Like half the games in that collection are very very far from a good "out of the box" experience. The fact that you can eventually get them running somewhat correctly doesn't change that. Red Alert 2 in particular is damn near totally broken on Windows 10. It requires extensive external fixes. The collection would get barraged with negative reviews if it was put on Steam.

5 minutes of googling is too much. People won't know how to do that and will give it a negative review instead.
