Manhunt

Manhunt

Poop sound looping.
On the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level, at the scene with the fat guy pooping in the trailer, the sound of him pooping continually loops. Anyone else having this issue? And if so did you find a way to fix it.

Wait till you get to the part of the guy watching the porn, because that loops too

I have nothing useful to contribute to this thread, except to say that of all possible sound glitches, one that conists of a man pooping himself into eternity is possibly the most hilarious one imaginable.

Anyway, carry on.

Actually it can be fixed

Appears to contain a Dsound file that fixes the issue, since using this I've never encounted anymore looping sounds

So, after multiple reinstallations, I've finally gotten my manhunt working again. I'll try my best to replicate what I did

Well first of all, I thought it was all strange since i did a full playthrough before. So I deleted the sound files that would loop, but noticed that the music would also loop every 5 seconds, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it while deleting my save data files. After that it still looped, so again I deleted my sound files and reinstalled manhunt but this time, I didn't delete my save data and I launched the game at 16-bit, and it worked. So I launched it in 32 bit to make sure and it works still. So my suggestion is to delete your sound files and reinstall your game but do not delete your save data.

EDIT: Try running in 16-bit first too

16-bit? What do you mean by that? How did you even do it anyway?

That makes no sense. Constantly reinstalling and switching between 16-bit and 32-bit? I tried that, if I think that's what you meant (that is, use a 16-bit resolution in the game launcher) and it didn't do nothing.
