Manhunt won't launch

I bought this game on sale and I downloaded the fixes for the game and it won't start. I t keeps giving me an error that says "Load error 0x02" I have directplay and NET framework 3.5 installed. I don't know what could be causing this I have tried SilentGamePLS' fix and ermaccer's fixer (both manual and fixer methods) and I get the same error message every time I don't know what could be causing this.

I think you should delete all of your Manhunt game files, Sometimes the old Manhunt files stay were they were installed and your game still might not work. I think you should find them than delete them. Than uninstall and reinstall your game. I think that might fix it. The files might be there in your file explorer

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manhunt

You might need the Manhunt fixer app which I have in the link I put below

I refunded the game but I should probably buy it again and try this.

I think having a fresh untouched version of the game might make the fix work

I have manhunt installed in in windows D: instead of C: that might be the cause of the problem

I think if you wanted to, you should look up the game error on a search engine like google search. Also if you wanted to, I think you should verify your game files. That might fix your game. Theres a link that gives directions below from steam support:
