Now pirates have better game than us.
Rockstar, did you really have to punish your royal customers and give incentives to pirates?

I was surprised and happy when I saw GTA:SA updating after all these years thinking "Yes, that's why I legitimately paid money for the game. Regular updates ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"

Then I came to the forum and found out they just took out 18 whole tracks that I grew to love.. From a 10 years old game! It was too late to abort the update. Now I'm angry.

If this is how you're going to treat paying customers, well I may be less inclined to pay your next games, not because of the money, but because pirating actually gets you a more complete game.

And then Rockstar always crybitch about releasing a PC version of their games. If they encourage people to pirate their games then they mustn't wonder they really do it.

I mean, DRM, I can maybe live with since it's simply a nuisance. But pirates actually getting more complete contents? Now that's just wrong and unacceptable.

I have the retail version which is better than the Steam version as I have the one with Hot Coffee still intact and not patched out.
I just put the songs back on my GTA SA folder in steamapps and you know what? the songs are back! Wow. Sure you need to have them in your system or find them on the internet.

Not always the case. Some DRM (like Steam) is made with the intent being that people will use it because the inconvinience is worth it for what you get out of it. But in this case Rockstar ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up royal and has now made it a bad idea to buy it instead of pirating it.

As I said, being just a nuisance is marginally different from having actually less content like say, 18 less soundtracks. Also they took out 1080p support for absolutely no reason. Look, I didn't want this 'update'. Shouldn't they at least ask for the customer's consent?

I've still got my original copy of San Andreas for the PC and thankfully it works well. Now, it may be the case that R* are having to pay more royalties for these songs. The thing that's shocking is that they made a mint on V, and yet they still want spring for the use of these songs in the game.

Plus the fact they've ballsed up the controls. This is the reason why people pirate games, they're fed up of junk like this.
